Job Title: Sales Engineer – Asian Market based in PRC.
Reports to: Vice President – Sales & Marketing

Job Summary:
Provide Engineering and technical support for Vibro/Dynamics Asia Sales to support the direct sale of machinery installation systems and services to targeted companies in the Chinese and Taiwanese Markets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Frequently travel to existing and prospective customers to offer technical support and expertise to help secure orders. Address technical questions from customers regarding products, problems, and product installations.

Focus to be placed on building relationships with the engineering and service personnel at Chinese and Taiwanese metal forming machinery OEMs (original equipment manufacturers); Tier automotive suppliers; and Forging OEMs and end user companies.

Represent the Company at trade shows and other events, giving presentations to promote the Company’s products and services. Give technical product presentations at customer locations as needed.

Conduct on-site vibration measurements and prepare follow-up analytical reports for customers.

Prepare technical communications on Vibro/Dynamics products and technologies, including Technical Bulletins, installation documents, drawings, specification sheets, PowerPoint presentations, website and email.

Prepare product recommendations and quotations. Prepare and issue monthly reports to sales management on activities and communications with customers. Prepare and submit travel expense reports.

Prepare forecasts and reports pertaining to the competition; vibration control products; and market conditions and trends. Analyze and monitor product field performance and report any product design improvement recommendations.

Qualifications

Engineering Masters Degree from an accredited educational institution with three to five years of related experience.
- Courses in the following subjects, in order of importance, are preferred: Vibration Analysis - sufficient understand one and two degree of freedom forced vibration systems with damping dynamics - rotating, reciprocating, and moving machines and parts. Statics - forces transferred through stationary objects Mechanics of Materials - stress and strain of materials with various geometries, reactions to loading. Differential Equations.
Must be proficient in Mandarin Chinese and English – verbal and written.
Able to read and understand drawings
Good computer skills including Microsoft Office products & Auto CAD.
Willing to travel up to 70% including 1-4 annual trips to the US for training.
Previous job experience associated with metal-forming presses and related equipment.
Open to relocation (Peoples Republic of China based)
Valid driving license with good driving record.
Passport, visa and related documents and permissions for travel to the USA, China and Taiwan.
